Students in 9-12 grade have plenty of summer camp experience opportunities to come and enjoy STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math)!

Residential Robotics Camp

 

For one week over the summer, students will be invited to stay on Clarkson University's Campus and participate in a fast paced Robotics Academy Challenge (RAC)  based competition. During this fun filled​ week, students will be introduced to all of the needed skills to be able to design, build, and program a​ working​ RAC robot​! ​These robots are 18"x18"x18" metal robots designed to complete a specific game that will be ​kept a secret until the beginning of the camp.

 

 

​Students will spend their days working to get their robot competition ready and the evenings will be spent participating in various social activities designed to foster team building and cohesiveness. A final competition with a competition ready robot will be held on Saturday July 22nd, 2017, family and friends are all invited to see this competition.

 

Where: Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY

When: July 16th - July 22nd

Cost: $1500​ (all inclusive)

This program is best suited for high school students. Students will be staying overnight in Clarkson University dorms and will be provided 3 meals a day.

 

​* The deposit of $500 is due at the time of application and the registration must be paid in full prior to the start of camp. Checks should be made payable to Clarkson University.

Tetrix Day Camp

 

Students will be invited the spend their mornings on Clarkson University's campus to participate in a FIRST LEGO League challenge. Students will be taught the basic skills needed to design, build, and program their LEGO robots to complete a game that will be announced at the beginning of camp.

 

Students will be encouraged to work together to complete the task of building a LEGO robot that will complete the game. They will walk away with cooperation, friendship, and critical thinking skills that help prepare them for todays world.

 

Dates: Monday, July 10, through Friday, July 14, 2017

Location: 163 CAMP Building, Clarkson University

Cost: $175

Section 1: Students entering grades 3-8 in Fall 2017 | 8:30-11:30 a.m.

Section 2: Students entering grades 3-12 in Fall 2017 | 12:30-3:30 p.m.
